This is a baseline assessment administered to your child to determine their level of proficiency as it pertains to the following:

  • Letter Recognition

  • Letter Sound

  • Sight Words

  • Counting

  • Ordering Numbers

  • Patterns

This assessment will take approximately one (1) hour and is required for the development of your child's learning plan.

Pre-K Readiness & Writing Program

Teach children about letters, body awareness, numbers, sequencing, and sharing in a fun, engaging, and informal manner.

Objectives

  • Teach size, shape, and position concepts for pre-writing and sensory motor skills

  • Use multisensory activities and music to teach pre-writing, sensory motor, and coloring skills, while building habits for letter and number formation and lowercase letter recognition

  • To help children progress from tracing their letters and numbers to writing their names

Pre-K Literacy & Math Program

Teach number concepts, geometry, sequencing, phonological awareness, vocabulary, and concepts about print.

Objectives

  • Implement effective, hands-on strategies that build early literacy and math concepts

  • Demonstrate developmentally appropriate activities for early number, shape, pattern, and math awareness

  • Teach early math and language standards

Language & Literacy Program

Teaches syllables, names and sounds of letters, words linked to content, new words in spoken language, how to respond to simple questions, and how to have discussions and share ideas.

The program focuses on building rich vocabulary, while children also learn to identify letter symbols, both capital and lowercase, by letter names. They learn how these “symbols” work together to form printed words and how printed words relate to spoken language.
